Discover God's Call is a three day retreat program preceded by a 15 day home study. Leadership of the retreat is provided primarily by volunteer lay people. The focus of the study and the weekend is to assist participants in identifying their God-given spiritual gifts and how to use these gifts in ministry within their local church and community. There is also a weekend program following the same concept that is presented in the local church. Discover God's Call is the vision of Mr. M.O. "Gus" Gustafson, a United Methodist layman from North Georgia.

The Mississippi Chapter Council of Discover God's Call met on March 9, 2013 and voted unanimously to dissolve as a chapter as of April 30, 2013. We had several reasons for the decision, but the bottom line was we felt that it was "God's Calling" for this Ministry.

This web site is maintained as an archive showing what the ministry was in Mississippi and to provide an incentive for church based spiritual gift ministries. We are hoping that these ministries not only teach about Spiritual Gifts, but help guide each searcher to discovering the Lord's calling for the use of these gifts.

The National Discover God's Call Council met in Brentwood, Tennessee on April 19th and 20th and voted to continue the Ministry though local retreats usually held in churches.
